Port Gamble Autumn Events

Port Gamble will have an eventful autumn!  A listing of events through October is below, provided by the official Port Gamble website.  We invite you to come to town, checkout the glorious fall colors of the trees, and stop by our fair trade store for a look at our African baskets, handmade soaps, and other artisan items.

Forest Festival/Old Mill Days September 30- October 2, 2011
Time: Friday 3:00-10:00 Saturday 10:00-10:00 Sunday 10:00-6:00 Come see logging shows, logging demonstrations and a car show on Saturday and Sunday. Ride rides at the carnival all 3 days, and enjoy the fireworks at dusk on saturday night. Logging show is $5.00.

Port Gamble Ghost Walk October 1,5,8,12,15,19,22, and 31 2011
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location: Begin at the Port Gamble Museum
Fee: $15/person; Reservations and prepayment are REQUIRED
This will be a guided tour by our museum curator throughout town with stops at places with reported supernatural activity. Infrared cameras and recorders are allowed and encouraged. Dress in weather appropriate clothing and bring flashlights! The tour will not be cancelled due to inclement weather. No kids under the age of 16 please.
Halloween Victorian House of Horrors Dessert Tea October 30 & 31, 2011
Time: 7:30PM
The floors will creak in the Tea Room at Port Gamble and candles will flicker during the 4th Annual Halloween Evening Dessert Tea. Sitting comfortably in the center of the already well known township with other haunted houses, you will be entertained by Theaterical Presentations of stories that will haunt you and tales of horrors from the past.
This is the perfect event for a group activity or date night. It is recommended that children not be brought to this event.
Cost per person: $23.95 + tax and gratuity.
Limited Seating is available.

Halloween Celebration! October 31, 2011
Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Come celebrate Halloween in Port Gamble! Participating businesses will offer a variety of tricks and treats. Pick up your passport at The Dauntless Bookstore and let the fun begin!

With a focus on historic locations and the tricks of the trade we'll hear from local professionals and have the chance to do our own after hour investigations in Port Gamble's most haunted locations. 10% Discount on Some Bolga Baskets

You can now buy many of our baskets online in of two ways: either choose your own and we'll ship the precise basket you pick, or let us select from our stock of baskets we haven't yet photographed and get a 10% discount. With the 2nd option, you will still get a beautiful, high quality basket, you just won't know what it looks like until you open your package. Surprises can be fun!  Eventually all of our dyed Bolga baskets will have this option.  It's just going to take some time to get them all photographed and processed for the web.

Bulk Orders

We have a new function on our website that allows you to save money by buying in bulk on items like our sea salt soap.  We'll be adding it to more and more items in the coming weeks, so look for savings of up to 20% per item on many of our products.  The bulk discount can be used in conjunction with our free shipping policy on orders over $100 to add up to some substantial savings.
