Our little Bainbridge Island store, located in Winslow Green, will be moving later this month just two doors down. The new address is 160 Winslow Way West, the former home of Island Sports. Because we're only moving a few yards away, it should be the easiest move ever, right? We will be closed on Sunday, October 23rd for the big push, and should re-open at the new location at 10:00am Monday, October 24th. We are moving because the new space is brighter, more visible, and is on a corner.

For those of you who didn't know we had a Bainbridge Island store, we have been in Winslow Green for nearly a year. We carry most of the fair trade products and U.S.-made clothing that you'll find at our stores in Seattle and Port Gamble. If you like Texture Clothing from Bellingham, Washington and fair trade clothing from Mata Traders, Global Mamas, and Marketplace India, among others, you'll be quite happy in our shop! And of course, we have plenty of the African baskets that we are known for.
I want to thank out landlords at our current location, the Solaks. Locals may know them as the owners of Shirvan Rug Gallery. They have been wonderful landlords and are good people - if you are interested in talking to them about the space please call them at 206-780-7992.
